ALOHA FRED: Please take a moment this morning to visit with Fred Crooker and wish him safe

travels as he moves to Michigan this week. We will miss you Fred and your company here at St.

Raphael’s. May your new chapter of life be very fulfilling! Please join us in the Parish Hall after

service for well-wishes and a special treat intended to honor Fred.

DAUGHTERS OF THE KING DISCERNMENT CLASSES: Dear Woman of Saint Raphaels. Are

you called to be a Daughter of the King? The only spiritual attribute needed to become a Daughter

is to desire to be nearer to God and help others do the same. Daughters find the order to be a safe

place in a busy world where they come together and support each other in Christ’s Love. Our Motto:

I am but one, But I am one, I cannot do everything, but I can do something, What I can do I ought

to do. What I ought to do by the grace of God I will do. Lord, What will you have me do? Our

Discernment classes will be on Thursdays 1:00 pm - 2:30 pm beginning on June 12th.

We will begin with a short course of preparation in our 1st class and follow with 6 sessions containing

2 chapters each from our National Study Guide. The Study will help you grow in your knowledge and

love of God. As you pray and serve him daily. Please Contact Anne Bolter, class leader with any

MAY OUTREACH AND EACH ONE BRING ONE (EOBO): Our Outreach for May is

Episcopal Relief and Development and our Each One Bring One is Cumberland Good Samaritans –

non-perishable food.

PARISH PICNIC: The church luncheon will be on June 11 @ 12:00 pm. The Men will provide

burgers and dogs and will need some help cooking. See Jeff if you're available to help. If you have

grilling skills we could use your help. (please arrive at 11:15). Also sign up to add your favorite sides,

desserts, and condiments on the luncheon sheet in the Parish Hall.. Thank you, Jeff Moler, Junior
